"Terry and the Pirates" was a 18-episode adventure series that ran on the Dumont Network with John Baer in the title role. It was loosely based on characters from Milton Caniff's long-running comic book series.
Directed by Lew Landers, Arthur Pierson & Richard Irving.
Broadcast years 1952 & 1953.
Complete prints.
SPECIAL NOTE; These episodes were acquired from three different sources. Image quality varies. The episode numbers do not indicate the order in which they were broadcast. Two of the 18 episodes are missing and presumed lost.
TRIVIA: William Tracy who plays the character Hotshot Charlie also had played the title role, Terry Lee, in the 1940 Columbia Pictures matinee serial "Terry and the Pirates." It's available in the Short Format Films collection here:

characters according to script was unbelievable. people that get obvious signs of wrong act upon it not play into it. one of hollywoods fillers before the main theatre showing
